THANK YOU for an amazing ART FAIR! Thank you Abigail @landmarkartfairs for organising it so well and putting such massive work into this! Thank you to all my family, friends, collector and supporters - it would not be possible without you. 🙏 My first art fair has been a success and has put a big smile on my face (no emoticon, imagine my smile!). Onwards! ▶️⏩▶️♾ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It was an immense honour to exhibit in the architectural gem that is #LandmarkArtsCentre @landmarkartscentre. My work couldn’t have been exhibited in a more suited place than a French #Gothic style cathedral! And such a historical place, too. Designed by local architect William S Niven some 130 years ago, the church was formerly known as St Alban's Church. (You’ll find Niven’s name engraved on the external wall at the west end of the south aisle wall). In an effort to build a massive church, based on the #NotreDamedeParis @notredamedeparis and, though never designated as a cathedral, St Alban’s was known informally as "the Cathedral of the Thames Valley." ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And my most #surreal #AHaMoment happened when I found out what happened here in 1985 💥💥💥💥 the filming of the video for the song #TheSunAlwaysShinesOnTV, by the amazing A-ha Band @officialaha @mortenharket 😍💥💥💥💥💥🤘.
